In Neubo you are controlling a ball that is navigating through the level that consisns of cubes (blocks) and hazards (spikes, lava, enemies). Your objective is to collect all the keys in the level (if any) and reach the exit.
Gravity in this game is dynamic. “Down” is always relative to where you are, so reaching the end of a block, you will be rolled to the adjacent side thus “switching” your gravity. This on one hand gives you complete freedom of movement, but on the other hand it makes it harder to solve the puzzle (to reach all the keys, and then the exit).
Substantial amount of game mechanics and puzzle levels design rely on the materials and interactions between them. Blocks can be represented by different materials (as a player ball can), so for example you cannot move wooden player ball on top of a paper block, but you can traverse water, which paper ball cannot do.
